Suicide Prevention

Suicide impacts people of all ages and backgrounds world wide.

Every year, approximately 4,500 people in Canada die by suicide, which is equivalent to 12 people dying by suicide every day.

For every person lost to suicide, many more experience thoughts of suicide or attempt suicide. Every day, more than 200 people in Canada attempt suicide. For every death by suicide, at least 7 to 10 loved ones are significantly affected by the loss.

How can we help?

Most people having suicidal thoughts have a looping pattern of negative thoughts and emotional pain. This can be reduced with the use of WilliamTellsAll to deal with your immediate problems and to affirm a positive life moving forward.

By using positive affirmations in your own voice you can start to overcome the negative thoughts assaulting your brain.

“I am healing each day”

“I am strong and capable"

“I will survive.”

Once you have overcome the negative thoughts in your mind you can start to rebuild with new positive thoughts for the future.

“I am safe and secure”

“I am embracing all the new possibilities of life"

“I am proud of who I am becoming”

Note: WilliamTellsAll is a tool that can help with long term improvement, if your are having suicidal thoughts you should seek immediate help from a therapist or call a suicide help line (9-8-8).

During my 35 years as a Captain in the Calgary Fire Department we were often the first responders to tragedy such as suicide.

I have seen far too many suicides and my own personal experience of loss has drawn me to one conclusion:

If WilliamTellsAll can turn the dial 1% and save one life then we all benefit.
