Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
PTSD can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or culture, after experiencing or witnessing dangerous, life-threatening, or traumatic events. While roughly 70% of people globally experience trauma, only a minority develop PTSD, with higher risks for women, first responders, refugees, and military personnel.

-
Women are roughly twice as likely to develop PTSD as men.
-
High-Risk Occupations: Military personnel, veterans, and first responders (police, firefighters, paramedics) have higher rates of PTSD.
-
Survivors of Specific Trauma: Individuals exposed to sexual assault, combat, natural disasters, terrorism, or severe accidents.
-
Childhood Adversity: Childhood abuse or neglect significantly increases risk.
-
Social Factors: Individuals with limited support systems after a traumatic event, or those experiencing ongoing stress (e.g., poverty, discrimination) are more vulnerable.
How Can We Help?
Most people suffering from PTSD have a looping pattern of negative thoughts and emotional pain. This can be reduced with the use of WilliamTellsAll to deal with your immediate problems and to affirm a positive life moving forward.
“I am allowed to struggle. Healing is not linear.”
“I am a survivor. My body is a survivor."
“I deserve to heal and feel better.”
Once you have overcome the immediate negative thoughts in your mind you can start to rebuild with new positive thoughts for the future.
“I am safe and secure.”
“I deserve love."
“I am in control.”

Why This Matters to You
You will be able to focus on what brings you peace, what makes you feel safe, and what you want for yourself. A new life of empowerment and contentment will emerge to the benefit of yourself.
“The affirmations are like metaphors that open the door to metamorphosis.”
