Binaural Beats
Binaural beats are sound waves that create an auditory impression where your brain perceives a third, different-frequency sound when you listen to two tones with slightly different frequencies, one in each ear, through stereo headphones. This impression is heard at the frequency difference between the two tones and is believed to influence brainwave activity. They are used in therapies for anxiety and stress and are explored for potential cognitive benefits like increased focus and memory, often through audio recordings or music.
